An applicant who gave an email address to register for the exam will receive consequent mails from Pearson VUE. If an e-mail address is not provided then replies from Pearson VUE will be received through U. S. Mail.

When registering through the internet, first go to NCLEX website. Click the Create a Web Account and Register option. You will be asked to answer questions. You can pay by using any major credit card such as MasterCard or VISA.

Registering by Mail In can be done by having a scanned form from your desired state board of nursing. Photocopies are not allowed. With the NCLEX registration form, include certified check, money order or cashiers check in an envelope and mail it to the same address.

When using the telephone method, the mailed form must be filled up first. Then call the Candidate Services of Pearson VUE NCLEX. The representative will request for information from the said form. Payment then maybe done through VISA, MasterCard or American Express credit card. You will be asked to provide the name, the credit card number and as well as the expiration date. Verification of the credit card is done before the registering process.

There is a time period for the registrations. It will be open for 365 days in Pearson VUE while the candidate is being verified for eligibility. It starts when the board of nursing has the candidates registration.

Those not declared eligible within the time period will lose their NCLEX registration. They will have to register again and repay for the fee if they want to take said exam. However, they will have to wait until their present registration expires before they can re-register.
