GRE Verbal Reasoning Overview

The verbal reasoning section of the GRE contains 2 sections:

  • Section 1: 12 Questions, 18 Minutes
  • Section 2: 15 Questions, 23 Minutes

You will be asked to answer 3 types of questions:

  • Reading Comprehension: ~14 Questions
  • Text Completion: ~7 Questions
  • Sentence Equivalence: ~6 Questions
