NCCT Practice Tests are an ideal way to prepare for your upcoming National Center for Competency Testing Medical Assistant certification (NCCT-NCMA). The NCCT exam is intended to certify that a candidate has the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the duties of a Medial Assistant. The NCCT exam consists of 150 questions on various Medical Assistant job functions (e.g., patient care, medical office management, pharmacology and medical procedures).

EMT Salaries

EMT salaries are determined by many different factors. Some factors that have an impact on EMT salaries are training, education, and work setting. Although many factors go into determining EMT salary, the primary factors that determine salary include location and experience/certification level.

The demand for EMTs and paramedics varies by state, city, and county which will cause the salaries to also vary by location. Another factor that can effect EMT salaries is the cost of living in their local market. EMTs are able to improve their salaries by gaining more experience and attaining more certifications, like the EMT-Paramedic. 

NREMT Practice Tests

EMT-Paramedic TestThe Paramedic exam requires applicants to pass both a state approved psychomotor exam, as well as a national NREMT certification exam. Under the 2014 NHTSA guidelines, the EMT-Paramedic certification level will be referred to as simply the Paramedic certification. Potential EMT candidates applying for an Paramedic certification must meet certain requirements.  Candidates must be 18 years or older.  Paramedic candidates must also have an EMT certification at the national or state level.  Candidates must also have completed a state-approved Paramedic course.  The state Paramedic course must meet or exceed the US Department of Transportation National Standard Curriculum for Paramedic.  This state course must have been successfully completed within the previous two years.  Additionally, Paramedic candidates must hold a current CPR credential and have successfully demonstrated competence in Paramedic skills.
