The CCNA (Cisco Certified Networking Associate) exam is a certification that shows your expertise in the IT field. The certification is widely recognized within the tech industry and is geared toward associate-level training.

After passing, the certification is valid for three years, after which you can retake the exam or opt to certify at a higher level.

The exam is usually taken online and is proctored by Pearson.

The CCNA exam consists of 100-120 questions and takes 120 minutes to complete (this means the average time limit is around 1 minute/question).

Beginning to study for the CCNA can feel overwhelming. Luckily, there are a plethora of excellent study resources, free practice tests, and Cisco study materials.

Before you even make your first flashcard, you need to make a plan. For example, there are six main topics on the Cisco CCNA.
