GMAT ScoresAchieving a high score on your GMAT is critical to getting into the business program of your choice.  It is important for you to understand how your GMAT scores are calculated, how they are used, and how you compare to other test takers. The GMAT Test has five scores associated with it.  There is a total score, and individual integrated reasoning, verbal, quantitative, and analytical writing scores.  The GMAT total score ranges from 200 to 800.  The individual verbal and quantitative scores range from 0 to 60.  The Integrated Reasoning score ranges from 1 to 8 in 1 point intervals. The GMAT Analytical Writing section is scored on a 0-6 scale with half-point increments.  The analytical writing scores are completely separate from the other scores, and do not count in the total score.
