CompTIA A+ Administration

The CompTIA A+ certification test is provided by Pearson VUE and administered year-round.

The cost of the CompTIA A+ is $246 per test, for a total of $478 for a CompTIA A+ certification.

Requirements

It is recommended that you have 9 to 12 months of hands-on experience in the lab or field before taking the CompTIA A+ exam.

Scores

Candidates are given a raw score for each test, which is then converted into a raw score on a scale of 900:

  • CompTIA A+ 220-1101 requires a score of 675 to pass.
