Requirements
Although there is no minimum age requirement to take the CompTIA Security+ exam, the test makers recommend that you shouldn’t take the exam until you have at least 2 years of work experience in the IT world and, more specifically, in a security-focused job.

Scoring
To pass the CompTIA Security+ exam, you must score at least 750 out of 900. This means that a passing score is about 83%.
Within five business days of taking your CompTIA Security+ exam, you’ll get your score back from whoever administered the test to you. If you fail the CompTIA Security+ exam, you can take it a second time with no waiting period in between.
