ACT Reading Overview

In total, there are 4 sections on the ACT exam. ACT reading gives many students trouble as the combination of reading these passages and the time limit is very challenging.

You will find that there are 3 main categories of questions on this section of the exam:

  1. Key Ideas and Details (52-60%)
  2. Craft and Structure (25-30%)
  3. Integration of Knowledge and Ideas (13-23%)
